Twin Falls woman dies in rear-end car crash

The crash happened after a driver rear-ended the woman's truck at the intersection, causing the truck to collide with two other cars.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — The Ada County Coroner has identified the woman that was killed in a four-vehicle car crash that happened in Twin Falls on Friday.

Maryann Steiner, 60, of Twin Falls, died at Saint Alphonsus in Boise on Sunday from injuries sustained from the crash, according to Dotti Owens, the Ada County Coroner.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Blue Lakes Boulevard and Heyburn Avenue at about 6 p.m.

The crash happened after a driver rear-ended Steiner's truck at the intersection, causing the truck to collide with two other cars.

Five other people were involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital. Idaho State Police have not released the details of their conditions.
