MALHEUR COUNTY, Ore. -- Two Idaho men were seriously hurt when their vehicles collided head-on in eastern Oregon Tuesday.
The crash happened at 11:22 a.m. on Highway 201N in Malheur County.
According to Oregon State Police, 53-year-old Robert Turner of Weiser was headed north in a green Ford Mustang when he veered across the center line.
Turner crashed into an oncoming Dodge pickup driven by 78-year-old Robert Evans, also a Weiser resident. The collision flipped Evans' truck onto its roof, and left a large debris field scattered across the highway.
Both men were airlifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise for treatment. The crash closed Highway 201N for about two hours.
