Twin Falls man dies in crash on I-84 near Wendell

Police say Sheldon Stultz was thrown from his pickup truck when it rolled over in the median.

Idaho State Police say 39-year-old Sheldon Stultz was driving a 1981 Ford F150 pickup westbound on I-84 when he lost control and rolled in the median.

WENDELL, Idaho — A Twin Falls man died at the scene of a rollover crash on Interstate 84 near Wendell Monday morning.

According to Idaho State Police, 39-year-old Sheldon Stultz was driving a 1981 Ford F150 pickup westbound on I-84 when, for unknown reasons, he drove off the road, causing the pickup to roll over in the median.

Police say Stultz was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. He died from his injuries at the scene.

Both westbound lanes of traffic were blocked for about an hour while crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
