A two-year-old boy has died after being accidentally run over by a tractor, according to the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were dispatched to private property northwest of Jerome.
They say 33-year-old Renato Rivera of Jerome was operating a tractor while preparing to feed calves and 2-year-old Jaime Rivera Jr. was playing nearby. The boy ran under the front of the tractor and was run over when Renato pulled forward. Jaime died at the scene.
No criminal charges have been filed.
