EAGLE, Idaho — The Boise River Greenbelt is back open on the south side of Highway 44 between Eagle Road and State Street after months of construction work, Eagle city officials announced.

The mile-long stretch closed in January due to flooding and construction work, which included trail replacement and installation of sewer lines.

Pedestrians using the Greenbelt were detoured around the closure.
