ISLAND PARK, Idaho — A man was killed Sunday evening when the snowmobile he was riding was hit by a car in Island Park.
According to Idaho State Police, 27-year-old Adam Figueroa of Island Park was riding the snowmobile out of a parking lot and onto U.S. 20 when the collision happened at 8 p.m.
Figueroa was struck by a westbound Subaru Legacy driven by 27-year-old Jacob Logan of Vermont.
The snowmobile rider was not wearing a helmet, and died from his injuries at the scene. Logan was not hurt, police say.
