TREASURE VALLEY - A snowstorm sweeping through the Treasure Valley made for treacherous conditions on Interstate 84 Friday night
Idaho State Police said they were investigating multiple crashes and slide-offs between Caldwell and Meridian.
One crash had one lane of westbound I-84 shut down between ID 55 and Franklin Road.
Ada County sheriff's dispatch reported multiple crashes, including one on westbound I-84 at Highway 69 and westbound I-84 at Ten Mile Road. There also was a crash at the intersection of Star Road and Chinden Boulevard.
Ada dispatch said all the crashes were non-injury. However, they said Nampa had an injury crash on the Garrity Boulevard overpass.
As of around 9:45 p.m., ISP said they were either en route, or on the scene of, six crashes on I-84, from Caldwell to Meridian. Some of the crashes - mainly from Nampa to Caldwell - were injury crashes and people were transported to local hospitals.
That number doesn't include crashes that have been cleared, or ones that have been reported but not responded to yet.
