Stray 10 of our 12 Strays of Christmas is Kedin. This sleek black purring machine is an 11-month-old male short-haired domestic cat, who came to the shelter as a stray, picked up by animal control. Rumor is, we may have thought he was a hitchhiker because Kedin is also a “polydactyl” – with a few extra toes on his front paws, looking like he’s got his thumb out hitching a ride! We’ll post a picture below!

Kedin has all the usual sleek black cat attributes: he likes being admired; he’s into toys that move fast and grab his attention; he loves long naps and affection on his own terms… He also could dispel any old wives’ tales about black cats, because Kedin knows Christmas, not Halloween, will be the best holiday if he finds his forever home.

Come shake paws with Kedin (37416702) in the Idaho Humane Society Dorman St. Cattery, at 4775 Dorman Street and see if you might like to share your home with this dapper gent. We’re open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday. We’ll close early Sunday, Christmas Eve, and be closed Monday, Christmas Day.
