Keepin' It Local: Calle 75 Street Tacos

Alex checked out Calle 75 Street Tacos in downtown Boise and The Village at Meridian, and says they shouldn't just be visited on Taco Tuesday.

If you're in the mood for street tacos, I have the place just for you! The name may sound familiar: Calle 75 Street Tacos. They have one location already in The Village at Meridian, and they just opened another location in downtown Boise.

They serve a variety of tacos like Carne asada, Pollo asado, brisket, and even a vegetarian option. They also have some specialty tacos, and that's where they get creative. I tried the Gringa style taco. If you like a little bit of spice and tasty Al Pastor, this taco was made for you!

Calle 75 also has burritos that are packed with flavor and are available as a bowl served over romaine lettuce and organic spinach.

The restaurant also caters and offers craft cocktails, beer, and wine.

A really unique aspect of Calle 75 is they make all of their tortillas from scratch. Watching the process was fascinating! It's great to know that you are always getting fresh ingredients.

Calle 75 is located at 110 N. 11th Street in Boise as well as 3635 E. Longwing Lane in Meridian.
