Missing Coeur d'Alene woman found safe

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Tessa Shannon was found.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Update June 3, 2022, 7:20 a.m.: The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Shannon was found. Her brother told KREM 2 that she is home safe.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing woman.

Tessa Shannon was last seen in the area of the Moose Lounge near 401 East Sherman Avenue. KCSO said she was last seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to Shannon's family, she told them she was going to the Moose Lounge to play pool on Tuesday night. She lives on a ranch in Coeur d'Alene with her three children.

Her last cell phone usage puts her in the area of the east end of Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene. Her family said they received a concerning text message from her phone at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Shannon was driving a 2019 Hyundai Tucson with the Idaho license plate number K682419. 

Her family said a search is currently underway in the Fernan Woods area.
