Truck rolls overs, spills load of potatoes on Idaho highway

POCATELLO, Idaho — A semi-truck hauling a load of potatoes crashed on U.S. Highway 30 near Pocatello Tuesday morning.

According to tweets from Idaho State Police, the rollover accident happened around 11 a.m. near the Simplot plant. The road was blocked, but traffic was still moving slowly through the area.

A photo posted on the ISP, Commercial Vehicle’s tweet page showed the trailer on its side with most of the spuds spilled across the highway.

State police say the highway was partially blocked until the early afternoon.
