BOISE -- Idaho State Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 84 near the Flying Wye after a fertilizer truck overturned, spilling its contents across the road.

The wreck was reported at 11:08 a.m. on westbound I-84 near Maple Grove Road.

Police say Maurice Ronneburg, 52, of Pocatello, was westbound in a Peterbilt semi pulling two trailers loaded with fertilizer.

Kimberly Davenport, 49, of Boise, was also westbound in a Mercedes 350 SUV and changed lanes, sideswiping the semi, causing the truck driver to lose control. The rear trailer rolled onto its side, losing its load on the highway.

The spill blocked two westbound lanes for about an hour and a half, but all lanes have since been reopened. A tow truck was called out to the scene to remove the semi, and crews worked to clean up the fertilizer.

There were no injuries. Davenport was cited by police.
