19-year-old ejected from a rollover crash on Interstate 84 in Boise, 2 other passengers also injured

Police said the crash happened when a driver went off the interstate, overcorrected when re-entering the freeway, and the car then rolled onto the shoulder.

One person was injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 84 on Sunday, May 10.

BOISE, Idaho — Three people, including a 19-year-old Washingtonian who was ejected out of a car, were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash on westbound Interstate 84 near milepost 66. 

Dispatchers with Idaho State Police told KTVB that the car rolled over near mile marker 66, just east of Boise's port of entry.

Police reported that the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. Sunday when 39-year-old Eathon Wesen of Washington drove off the interstate, overcorrected when re-entering the freeway, and the car then rolled onto the right shoulder. 

Nineteen-year-old Brayden Binkley of Centralia, WA was ejected from the vehicle. Police said they were not wearing a seatbelt but Wesen was wearing one. The teen was then airlifted to Saint Alphonsus in Boise. Their current status is unknown.

Two other passengers were also hospitalized - 19-year-old Choe Sproles of Blackfoot and 30-year-old Brittnay Binkley of Centralia, WA.

Idaho State Police did not state how serious Brayden Binkley, Brittnay Binkley, and Sproles's injuries were.

All westbound lanes were closed for about two and a half hours.
