Holly announced Thursday that she will act as a permanent fill-in on Today's Morning News.

BOISE, Idaho — Carolyn Holly is returning to her old stomping grounds as a fill-in anchor for KTVB.

Holly hasn’t been a regular on KTVB for three years. She left Channel 7 in 2016 after 33 years.

The beloved TV personality will be back on the air Friday on Today's Morning News to fill in for Maggie O’Mara and Doug Petcash, who are both on vacation.

The retired anchor, who currently serves as Vice President of Idaho Business for Education, will return occasionally as fill-in anchor.
