Boise woman dies in early morning car crash in Canyon County

Idaho State Police say the woman was driving on US-20 when her car crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car.

PARMA, Idaho — A 32-year-old Boise woman died in a car crash near Parma on Sunday morning.

Idaho State Police say the woman was driving on US-20, west of Gotsch Road, when her car crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car, driven by a 29-year-old Caldwell man.

Both drivers were airlifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, according to investigators.

Police say the woman later died from her injuries at the hospital.

The crash happened at about 6 a.m. Sunday and blocked lanes of traffic for about four hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
