Ada County Coroner Dottie Owens says a body found Saturday afternoon near the Diversion Dam of Highway 21 was a Pocatello man.
The deceased man has been identified as 39-year-old Jamas Deek Kluza.
The body was discovered at about 2:45 p.m., about 100 yards east of the dam, the Ada County Sheriff's Office said.
His belongings were found nearby, along the Greenbelt.
The sheriff's office said it appears the man died several days before his body was discovered.
The coroner said foul play is not suspected in Kluza's death. The cause and manner of death are pending toxicology results, which can take several weeks to get back.
The case remains under investigation by the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
