NAMPA -- Two adults and some juveniles were transported to local hospitals after a car and an SUV collided in a Nampa intersection Wednesday morning.
Idaho State Police are investigating the crash, which happened just before 7 a.m. at Karcher and Middleton roads.
ISP said Tasha Chandler, 35, of Caldwell, was driving west on Karcher in a 2002 Honda Civic and was waiting to turn left onto Middleton road.
As Chandler turned left, her car was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer being driven east on Karcher by Lori Jerran, 42, of Boise.
The Blazer overturned and came to rest on its top.
Chandler and juvenile occupants of the car were taken by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.
Jerran was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Medical Center in Meridian.
All the occupants of the vehicles were wearing seat belts, ISP said.
Police say it's not clear which driver had a green light when the wreck happened. Debris, glass and a small animal carrier were scattered in the road near the wreck.
Traffic was diverted around the area as emergency responders worked to clear the crash.
