A unique and exclusive food experience is coming to the Treasure Valley

A three-day pop-up restaurant in the Eagle area will be invite-only.

EAGLE, Idaho — Pop-up restaurants are the type of thing you often hear about in big cities like Los Angeles or New York City, but one is set to open this week in the Eagle area.

The three-day pop-up restaurant will open on Tuesday in the Williamson River Ranch community.

Each night, eight to 10 guests at the invite-only event will get to sit and watch as a six-course dinner is prepared by an executive chef from Arizona and Eagle's own Franck Bacquet of Bacquet's Restaurant.

"Fine, fine, fine food," Bacquet said about what guests can expect at the experience. "It will be lots of fun. We will have fresh club surf, good caviar from Idaho. We have beautiful trout [and] venison tenderloin. The finest food you can get in the valley, for sure."

Not only will guests be treated to fine food, the clubhouse at Williamson River Ranch will also be decorated to look like the Black Forest - a mountainous region in southwest Germany that borders on France.

When asked why they decided to bring a pop-up restaurant to Idaho, organizers say it's because the area has landed on a lot of top-10 lists recently, and they took notice.
