Mohamed Jarato (left) and Mohamed Kariye were arrested on Friday on suspicious of credit card fraud.

Boise Police arrested two Washington men on suspicion of using fraudulent credit cards in several purchases at different Boise stores last week.

A store on the 3500 block of S. Federal Way alerted police that two men attempted to use fraudulent cards to buy gift cards around 6:40 p.m. Friday.

Boise Police was alerted to a similar situation at another store that matched the same description of the men and their vehicle.

Police then found the vehicle that matched descriptions from the stores in the same shopping center on Federal Way and made contact with the men.

Following an investigation, police found that the men had multiple cards that weren't theirs in their possession and that were used several times at different stores in the Treasure Valley.

Mohamed Kariye, 30, of Kent, Wash. and Mohamed Jarato, 31, of Renton, Wash. were charged with felony grand theft, burglary and fraudulent use of a financial transaction card.

Police are still investigating the crimes.
