BOISE -- Two teenagers were arrested early Thursday morning after police say they connected them to a series of vehicle burglaries.
Officers were called out to the area of Crestwood Drive and Glenwood Street at 4:44 a.m. after receiving reports of multiple car break-ins in the area. During a search of the area, officers located 18-year-old Adam Pearl and a 17-year-old boy. The teens matched the descriptions of the burglary suspects, police say.
After speaking to the suspects, officers were able to connect them to at least three vehicle burglaries in the area. Police also recovered some of the stolen items and returned them to their owners.
Pearl was booked into the Ada County Jail on one felony burglary charge. He is due to appear in court for an initial arraignment Friday.
The 17-year-old, whose name has not been released because he is a minor, was released to a parent. The case against him will be forwarded to the juvenile courts, police say.
Boise Police is working to determine whether there are additional burglary victims or suspects connected to the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
