MERIDIAN — A man accused of seriously injuring an ex-girlfriend in her home is now in custody, Meridian Police announced Saturday.
Police asked the public for tips about 33-year-old Brant Nye on Friday, after, they say, he entered his ex-girlfriend's home and severely battered her. She suffered significant injuries that required surgery.
Meridian Police say Nye was located in Boise, and booked into the Ada County Jail. Charges against him include aggravated battery, two counts of burglary, malicious injury to property, violating a no-contact order (third offense), and misdemeanor battery.
Nye is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, August 20.
