BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police is searching for a pickup truck officers say may be connected to suspicious activity off of State Street Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers received reports of a man peering into the windows of multiple homes in the area of North 33rd and Dewey streets. Officers responded to the neighborhood and spotted the suspect, but when they tried to talk to him, police say, he jumped into his pickup and drove away.

The man may have later abandoned the vehicle, police say. It's unclear whether the pickup belongs to the suspect or to someone else.

The truck is a brown or dark gray 90’s model 4x4 Chevrolet with a campershell on the back and a drop-down hitch. The license plate is 8B DH447.

The vehicle was last seen headed west on State Street near 6th Street.
