GLENNS FERRY -- Elmore County sheriff's deputies and the FBI are looking for a bank robbery suspect.

Deputies went to the U.S. Bank branch in Glenns Ferry at about 1:40 this afternoon. A robbery had occurred there just a few minutes after dispatchers received a call about a fight, which deputies were not able to find.

They say a woman handed the bank teller a note demanding money, then took off with the cash, heading east on Idaho Street.

The Glenns Ferry School was put on lockdown until deputies determined that there was no threat to the school.

The sheriff's office describes the robbery suspect as a white woman, about five-foot-six and 120 pounds. They say she was wearing a black ski mask, a black and purple hoodie and gray sweat pants.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office. According to detectives, U.S. Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
