Boise Police locate suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing in downtown Boise

Rosario Gutierrez was charged with felony aggravated battery following a stabbing in downtown Boise.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police have found the suspect wanted in connection to a stabbing in downtown Boise that happened at about 3 p.m. Saturday.

The stabbing occurred after the Rosario Gutierrez, 30, of Boise and the victim fought in an alley off 11th St. between Main and Idaho Streets, according to police.

The victim was then transported to a hospital by a friend.

It does not appear that the two men knew each other, police say.

Police are continuing to investigate the crime.

Gutierrez was booked into the Ada County Jail late Saturday night and charged with felony aggravated battery.

Police tweeted out at about 9:30 p.m. that they had located Gutierrez and had him in custody.
