Boise police ask public to help identify child enticement suspect

The incident happened July 13, and police have released surveillance images of the suspect's vehicle.

BOISE — After weeks of investigation into a report of a child enticement, Boise police are now reaching out to the public to identify a suspect in the case.

A 13-year-old girl reported that she was approached by a man she didn't know in a vehicle at around 8:45 p.m. July 13 while she was walking near Comba Park. The park is near North Five Mile and West Ustick roads.

A nearby surveillance camera captured video of the suspect's vehicle, which is white with four doors and of a crossover SUV or minivan style. It was also dirty.

The girl said the man asked her to get in the vehicle and drove off at high speed when she refused.

The suspect is described as being in his 40’s, with a wrinkly face, short hair, stubble on his chin and a deep voice.
