BOISE - Police are concerned that a Boise man accused of online sexual extortion may have more victims, and they're being asked to contact authorities.

Rizwan Ghumman, 33, was arrested after a four-month-long investigation into multiple reports of extortion.

In April, Boise police received information that a woman had been threatened by a man she met on a dating app. The suspect allegedly threatened to send nude photos of the victim to her friends if she didn’t continue to send him additional sexually explicit content via video chat.

Police said the man used several fake names - including “Mark Wallace” and “Soldier Boy” - and officers identified two more victims who received similar threats.

Ghumman was arrested after a search warrant was served on August 7. He was booked into the Ada County Jail on three felony counts of grand theft by extortion.

Police believe there are additional victims, and they're asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS (2677), www.343COPS.com, or leave a tip using the P3 Tips app.
