Boise business owners, residents find property covered in graffiti

A car was vandalized this weekend as part of a graffiti spree in downtown Boise.

BOISE - Boise business owners and residents woke up Sunday morning to find that someone had covered cars, buildings and other property with vulgar graffiti.

The graffiti spree spans three blocks along Main and Idaho streets between Whitewater Park and 27th.

A man who works in the area who did not want to be identified, said he discovered it when he came into work around 9:30 Sunday morning. He said he contacted his boss and other business owners in the area who were affected.

He said police collected evidence left at the scene, including two cans of spray paint. Investigators also took photos of the graffiti.

The employee believes this is random.

KTVB reached out to the Boise Police Department, but has yet to hear back.
