BOISE, Idaho — A new study found the Boise Airport is among the best in the nation when it comes to on-time performance.
Researchers at InsureMyTrip evaluated data released this week by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, and found that Boise Airport was the second-best in the U.S., with one lowest percentages of canceled flights - less than .5 percent - for all of 2018.
Salt Lake City took the top spot, while New York's LaGuardia had the worst track record.
InsureMyTrip predicted that the grounding of Boeing's 737 Max jets will inflate cancellation rates for many airports nationwide when 2019 percentages are calculated.
