BOISE, Idaho — A major restaurant chain in Boise is closing its doors after three decades of business, and they are partly blaming road construction.
The Sizzler restaurant on Cole Road next to the Boise Towne Square Mall is closing its doors for good Monday.
The owner of the restaurant is blaming increased cost of operation, an expired lease and what they saw as prolonged road construction on Cole Road.
The Meridian and Nampa locations will remain open.
