Here are some facts about cooking with pork:
- Pork tenderloin is one of the leanest cuts of pork (equivalent amount of fat as skinless chicken breast).
- Certified as a heart healthy food by the American Heart Association - Easy and versatile - pairs well with several different flavors (fruits, vegetables, sauces etc.) - Summer food safety: internal temperature of 145 and ground pork to 160
- Smaller pieces mean a quicker cook time which reduces the amount of carcinogens produced from prolonged high heat.
