One of Boise's most famous - and youngest - snowboarders rides again for 2nd birthday

Cash Rowley became an internet sensation in late 2017, when millions saw a video of her first snowboard ride. It looks like the toddler is sticking with the sport.

BOISE — A snowboard ride at Bogus Basin is becoming quite a birthday tradition for Cash Rowley.

She's just two years old.

On her first birthday, dressed in a multi-colored snowsuit and knit cap, Cash hit Coach's Corner in what became a viral video, viewed by millions.

Sunday, during Bogus Basin's opening weekend, Nick and Whitney Rowley brought Cash back to the mountain for her second birthday. Just like last year, Nick had his camera rolling again.

Nick Rowley's Facebook post came with this heading: "Look everyone, she has a helmet on!"

As KTVB reported in December 2017, Cash received a snowboard as a gift for Christmas of 2016, just a couple of weeks after she was born.

Along with the board came a challenge: get Cash on the slopes by the time she turned a year old.

"My sister and my niece did it when she was 18 months old, so it was kind of that competition, like 'OK,' like a joke, and then when she started walking at nine months, it was like 'game on,'" said Whitney Rowley in a story KTVB did after Cash's first birthday run.
