Ola, Idaho in the running for new HGTV show

The president of the local PTO tells us she has turned in a video to the network.

BOISE, Idaho — On Tuesday, we told you the city of Cascade is in the running to be featured on HGTV’s new show called “Home Town Takeover.”

Well, they are not alone.

The community of Ola, Idaho, an unincorporated community in Gem County, also submitted a video hoping to be chosen.

Aleah Nelson is the PTO president and turned the video in to the network.

She tells us the community of a little over 200 people rallied behind the effort to get on the show.

And she's hoping that if they are chosen to be featured, revamping the school will be one of the big priorities.
