It is likely the simplest fundraiser you could ever do and it won't cost you any money just a little bit of your time and energy. The March for Meals is Saturday in Kleiner Park in Meridian. All you do is show up at 10 am and sign your name to a list. Blue Cross of Idaho will pay $5 per name and all you need to do is take a short walk around the park. The walk is just one third of a mile and easy for everyone. The more who show up, the more money that goes to Metro Meals on Wheels of the Treasure Valley. This program provides quality meals to seniors but also a personal contact on a regular basis and allows them to remain independent in their own homes.
