We all want to be safe and make sure our families will be safe. The Meridian Fire Department wants to help with a free open house this Saturday. This event will be much more than just fire fighters and equipment. This one will have other first responders including law enforcement. Lots of demonstrations and hands-on activities. Hotdogs will even be served free. There is no cost and the time will be from 10 am to 1 pm at fire station number one in Meridian off Franklin.
