Misty Inglet is an award-winning reporter who joined the KTVB news team in January 2019.

Misty is a native Idahoan, having been born and raised on a dairy farm in Preston.

Before moving to Boise, Misty spent three years working at KIFI/KIDK in Pocatello, where she was the bureau reporter. She covered everything from community feature stories to murders and high-profile court cases. Halfway through her time in Pocatello, Misty was also promoted to weekend anchor and producer for KIDK, a position she held for a year and a half before deciding to move to the Treasure Valley. While working in Pocatello, Misty received several awards, including being selected one of the top three reporters in the state by the Idaho State Broadcasters Association.

Because she graduated from Utah State University, Misty bleeds blue (Go Aggies!) While she will always be an Aggie, she looks forward to getting to know the Boise State University community and watching games from the Smurf Turf. Misty graduated cum laude from USU in December of 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in English Studies.

If Misty’s not at work, you can almost always find her on the bowling lanes. She is a competitive bowler and competes in tournaments year round. She has even represented the state of Idaho at Nationals. When Misty isn’t working or bowling (which she is almost always doing) she loves to spend time reading, cooking or watching a good movie. She looks forward to getting to know the people of the Treasure Valley and exploring all her new home has to offer.

If you have any story ideas, Misty would love to hear from you. You can contact her by email at minglet@ktvb.com or you can follow her and reach out on Twitter and Facebook.
