Ellen Mattila started working at KTVB in June of 2014 as a producer for Today's Morning News. In August of 2016, she changed roles and began producing the News at 10.

Ellen graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in broadcast journalism. While in college she worked as an intern at WQOW News 18 in Eau Claire, and completed several independent reporting projects including civil rights issues in the southern United States and environmental recovery in Eastern France in the century following the First World War.

At home in both the mid-west and the northwest, Ellen grew up in both Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Green Bay, Wisconsin. No matter where she lives she will always love the Green Bay Packers. She likes to write, draw, paint, and travel and is excited to help tell the Treasure Valley's stories.
