BOISE, Idaho — Devin Ramey is a native Idahoan who is thrilled to be part of Idaho's News Channel 7, a station he grew up watching. He joined KTVB as a digital content producer after graduating from Boise State University in May 2018.
Devin believes that local journalism serves a key role in citizens' lives and how they interact within their communities. He graduated with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in communication with a media studies and journalism emphasis. Prior to enrolling at Boise State, Devin was part of the school newspaper staff at Capital High School, where he graduated from in 2014.
He is a fresh face to our news team and has a background in print journalism at Boise State. He was on the Arbiter newspaper staff, where he focused on state politics, growth and development in the Treasure Valley. He covered topics ranging from gun laws in Idaho to student housing issues at Boise State.
As a Boise native, Devin has seen how much the Treasure Valley has changed in recent years and grew up enjoying the great outdoors in Boise's backyard. He loves to camp and fish during the summer -- Lucky Peak and Hidden Lake are his go-to destinations.
He is a deep Boise State fan, it was even the only university he thought about attending. In the fall, you can hear him cheering on his Broncos throughout the newsroom, just don't get him started on their play calling.
