Stampede players visit children's hospital

BOISE -- Patients at St. Luke's Children's Hospital got a lift to their spirits today with a visit by members of the Idaho Stampede basketball team.

Three of the players took the time to hand out T-shirts, sign them, and take pictures with patients and family members.

“I always enjoy coming to hospital, just to see the smiles on families and kid’s faces when we come through, just know we made a difference in their day,” said Treveon Graham.

"You see these kids and they're in good spirits and they're going through real health problems situations, it just helps you think more optimistic about your situations in your life," said Dashonte Riley.

Each player said visits like today really help put things in perspective for them.
