Colon and Rectal cancer is one of the most deadly and yet treatable cancers but only is it is detected early. A semi-invasive procedure called a colonoscopy can detect a problem and are done once ever 10 years or every 5 years depending on your risk level. Improvements in those procedures and the prep for them improves every year and if you are age 50 or more you should consult with your care provider and schedule an examination.
