Idaho guys play in NBA Summer League

The National Basketball Association officially began its summer league Friday night, meaning a couple players with Idaho ties had the opportunity to show their skills to the league for the first time this summer.
Former Boise State baller Coby Karl opened play with the Lakers summer league squad scoring 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and added 3 assists in the Lakers 84-73 loss. Another former Bronco, Reggie Larry, did not play in the Golden State Warriors 96-89 win over Philadelphia.
The Idaho Stampede, who saw Mike Taylor leave them for the association had a nice night as well for the Clippers. In his debut he scored 9 points, 7 boards and 4 dimes as LA beat Dallas.
