C of I Gall and McGee sweep CCC player of the week awards

Men
College of Idaho forward Craig McGee was honored today as the Cascade Conference men's basketball Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the league office in Portland, Ore.
The redshirt junior from Boise had a huge week in helping the Coyotes go 3-0, including wins over No. 15 ranked Evergreen State and No. 19 ranked Eastern Oregon.
McGee had 15 points and six rebounds, including a pair of free throws late in overtime in the 85-81 win over EOU, followed by a 17 point, 12 rebound performance at Northwest on Saturday night. Sunday, he had 14 points and 12 rebounds, with a lay-up at the buzzer lifting the Yotes to a 71-69 victory.
For the week, McGee averaged 15.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, converting 19 of his 36 field goal attempts.
The Coyotes, winners of four in a row, open up a three-game homestand on Friday night, hosting Concordia University at 7:30 p.m.
Women
For the second time this season, College of Idaho guard Nicole Gall was named Cascade Conference women's basketball Player of the Week, announced this afternoon by the league office in Portland, Ore.
The sophomore from Boise was the catalyst in the Lady Yotes going 3-0 on the week, extending their winning streak to a school record 16 games. Gall averaged 24.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 2.7 assists in wins over Eastern Oreogn, Northwest, and Evergreen State, while connecting on 27-of-49 field goal attempts, including 15-of-30 shots from three-point range.
Gall had a game-high 26 points and six steals in leading The C of I to a 79-50 win at home last Tuesday against rival Eastern Oregon. She followed it up with a big road trip in Washington, scoring 20 points with six rebounds in the 80-52 win at Northwest, then leading the way with 27 points and seven rebounds in the 83-67 win at Evergreen State.
After going 3-0 last week the Lady Yotes moved up 4 spots in the NAIA Women's D II poll to 11th. They'll host No. 17 ranked Concordia on Friday night at 5:30 p.m. to open up a three-game homestand.
