BOISE -- The Broncos left for the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Tuesday morning and so did our KTVB crew.
KTVB's News Operations Manager, Xanti Alcelay, says it's been a snowy, slick trip so far through Nevada.
For those Bronco fans driving down to the MAACO Bowl Tuesday or Wednesday, you might have the same difficult road conditions. Meteorologist Jim Duthie says as of 2 p.m. Tuesday the Ely, NV area had gotten eight inches of snow.
The same storm is also passing through Utah.
If you aren't leaving until Thursday or Friday, the roads should be in better shape. Duthie says once this storm passes, it should be pretty clear for a few days.
Wondering what to pack for the game? Duthie is predicting mid-fifties and partly cloudy skies Saturday afternoon in Vegas.
Another storm is predicted Sunday night into Monday in the Nevada and Utah areas. Duthie says as the forecast is shaping up right now, you may want to head back to the Gem State earlier rather than later on Sunday.
