Easter Sunday will be sunny and temperatures will come down a bit after a cold front passes through Saturday night. Lows will be near 40 degrees in the Boise area and highs will top out in the mid-60s. Winds will also be a factor Sunday, especially east of Boise.
After a return to mid-70s on Monday, a stronger cold front and associated storm system will come inland Monday night bringing a possibility of thunderstorms Tuesday and a greater probability of rain to southern Idaho. Daytime highs will plummet to the lower 50s for Tuesday and Wednesday with winds picking back up.
That will be just the beginning of a series of storms moving in from the Pacific giving us a chance of rain each day into next weekend with highs remaining slightly below average.
