Young Broncos shine in first spring scrimmage

BOISE -- With so many veteran guys sitting out spring practice, Wednesday was an opportunity for some Boise State youngsters to show what they could do on the football field... in the first scrimmage of the spring.
Freshman Joe Southwick looked good at quarterback, but the day really belonged to the defense.
