TOLEDO, Ohio — A security video from a McDonald's in Toledo, Ohio shows a woman punching two restaurant employees and smashing a drive-thru window because she couldn't get Chicken McNuggets.

It happened early on New Year's Day. Police say Melodi Dushane was angry that McNuggets weren't being served, because it was breakfast time. On the tape you see an employee telling her they stopped selling McNuggets four hours earlier.

The tantrum caught on tape shows the Dushane get out of her car, reaching through the drive-thru window, slugging one worker and then another.

Dushane's friend, Brenda Goucher, says the employees first called Dushane names. Goucher also says the McDonald's employees get orders wrong and mistreat customers.

"You get back home and there are no fries," says Goucher. "You go back up there and she's going to argue with you about it."

According to the police, it was the restaurant's manager who then walked to the window. After being swung at by Dushane the manager then tried to pull Dushane through the window by her hair.

It then became a tug of war at the window, with two to three employees on one side of the glass and Dushane on the other.

Dushane is then seen on tape screaming and angrily trying to break the glass.

"If someone dragged me by the hair I'd be furious," said Goucher.

Dushane then grabs a bottle out of her car and tosses it through the glass window before speeding off.

Dushane says she was drunk at the time. Her attorney says she suffers panic attacks which are heightend when drinking.

"Well it was New Years, New Year's Eve. You know, you drink, " said John McMahon, Dushane's defense attorney. "She was definitely shocked by what she saw because she didn't remember it."

She was sentenced to 60 days in jail last month, placed on a year probation and ordered to pay McDonald's for the broken window.
