BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY -- Four Boise State students are enjoying what could be the sweetest internship on campus.
These students are buzzing with activity as they tend BSU's very own apiary -- or in other words, a medium-sized bee farm on the roof of the student union building.
All are environmental studies students who gave KTVB photojournalist Deren Martinez an up-close view of the bees.
University officials say the bee farm was the brainchild of a former student union director who thought it would be a neat idea to put some honey-bee hives on the rooftop.
Here's the the interesting part: the students now have more honey than they know what to do with.
Since they have so much, the students are considering selling the bottled honey at the Boise State Bookstore, or possibly even the downtown farmers market.
