BOISE -- After months of anticipation, KTVB drew the winner of this year's beautiful St. Jude Dream home in Eagle Sunday night, and on Monday KTVB stepped inside the home with the new owner.
Walking around in awe of the newly built $350,000 home, Carole Spry says she's still numb since KTVB first announced her name during Sunday night's St. Jude Special.
Spry said she entered the drawing last month for a chance to win some Boise State tickets but never dreamed this would be her home.
"Well I expected to hear somebody else's name, not mine. It was just a shock. You just don't expect it. I never win anything, that's what everyone says but it was just real exciting," said Spry.
Spry and her husband say this 5-bedroom home might be too big for them, but they haven't decided what to do with it yet.
For now, she says they're staying put in their Middleton home and property that holds their horses.
