BOISE -- Earlier this week, Boise State Coach Chris Petersen sent out a request for help from Bronco Nation – bring the noise.
Well, coach, ask ye shall receive.
A record crowd of 36,864 fans packed the stands and proceeded to get loud … very loud.
Many fans we spoke to commented on the crowd noise, saying it was the loudest they had ever heard Bronco Stadium get.
With just five days to prepare for BYU, Coach Pete knew the fan enthusiam would translate into on-the-field results. And it did. It was obvious throughout the game that crowd noise was affecting the BYU offense’s ability to operate effectively.
And with Boise State’s offense struggling as well, the defense surely appreciated Bronco Nation’s support.
