BOISE -- We've seen the Bronco nation spirit across the nation Thursday.
During the fourth hour of the TODAY Show, Brenda Femrite of Boise was picked out of the Rockefeller Plaza crowd for an ambush makeover.
Brenda has lost two husbands - one of whom was a former Ada County Sheriff's deputy who died in January.
Thursday morning, her mother and daughters - all decked out in Boise State gear - wanted to help her celebrate a big upcoming birthday.
"Today is about celebrating mom's 50th. Absolutely, and she's the most amazing person I know, and no one deserves this more than her. I'm so happy," said one of Brenda's daughters.
After three hours of pampering, Brenda and her family got the big post-makeover reveal live on national television.
Brenda's 50th birthday is coming up in the next week. The stylist introduced the "new" Brenda by saying,"50 is the new 40, and she's going on 35."
