BOISE -- Treasure Valley skiers and snowboarders have a chance to test out their newest aerial tricks without the fear of breaking numerous bones this weekend.

That's because a giant, 60' x 60' inflated crash pad has been placed at the base of a jump in the Mountain Dew Terrain Park at Bogus Basin Ski Resort.

The unique features is courtesy US Airbag, and allows skiers and snowboarders to learn new tricks without the fear of a hard landing.

Jamie Zolber is ski and snowboad director for Bogus Basin. Zolber said the airbag will make several appearances at the resort.

"This is the first time we have had the airbag here at Bogus Basin," Zolber said. "We do have two other events this weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then one in February and one in April."
